Jorge Torres is a Monterey Bay painter, artist, photographer, and community leader who expresses himself through any medium that allows him to create visually meaningful and compelling work. Dedicated to documenting life through color, culture, and storytelling, his art explores the connection between memory, place, and human experience.

In 2023, Jorge was named Artist in Residence for The Weston Collective in Seaside, California. His work lives at the intersection of art and memory, blending painting, illustration, and photography to capture authentic moments and cultural narratives. Jorge believes photography is one of the few ways we can stop time. Holding emotion, preserving moments, and telling stories that continue long after the shutter closes.
